· Take the R43 in the direction Onrus / Hawston
· Join the R44 direction N2
· Join the N2 direction Cape Town
· Go up the Houwhoek Pass
· Exit at Grabouw (by turning right onto the R321 direction Villiersdorp)
· After about 35km, cross the bridge over the Theewaterskloof Dam, and turn left onto the R45 (signposted   Franschhoek)
· Travel over the Franschhoek Pass
· On descending the pass you will pass La Petite Ferme on your left, Haute Cabrière is about 100 meters   further down on   your right

The restaurant is underground and built into the mountainside.
